Theme 1 - Event – Football Practice
1.    The main subject for this image (right – football player) is the person standing in the centre of the image kicking a football. By the background fairly plain it makes the person stand out.
2.    I took these photos because I have an interest in football and play it regularly. I also thought because I like football, it wouldn’t be as hard to take pictures of something that you like doing/playing.  These images show us a person practising football.
3.    Description: Macintosh HD:Users:08JMBos_Boswell:Desktop:Mitchell Boswell's Work:08j.mboswell 7:Documents:Photography Project.:Photography - Football:Photos For Blog:Balck and White - Rule oF Thrids - FinishedAll the focus on this image (right - football) is drawn to the right hand corner. With the main subject being the football placed on the edge of the pitch. Also with the image containing the element ‘Rule Of Thirds’ adds to the attention being drawn to the corner.
4.    Description: Macintosh HD:Users:08JMBos_Boswell:Desktop:Mitchell Boswell's Work:08j.mboswell 7:Documents:Photography Project.:Photography - Football:Photos For Blog:Inverted picture The elements used in this image is the ‘Rule Of Thirds’, this works well with this picture because it reinsures that the main subject of the image doesn’t have to be in the centre of the image. The football was originally in the middle of the image but by cropping and moving the image around it creates a better effect in the corner.
5.    I am very happy with most of my images because they are clear and can easily tell what the subject of the image is. The only picture that I think could be improved is this filtered image (right – filtered image) because you can’t see much detail all over.  The original picture wasn’t of the best quality so I tried to make the picture more interesting to look at. Other than this photo I was happy with the quality with the rest of the pictures.

6.    One of my photos compared to a ‘professional’ photo (professional coloured picture) (My photo black & white) and I think that my image is the same or if not better than the professional version. This could be because I captured more detail and the ‘Rule Of Thirds’ has been used which will catch the audience’s attention.

Theme 2 – Portrait  - Animals (Day out)
1.    The main subject of this mage is the tiger. The bright colours and the detail on the tiger draws all the attention
2.    The reason why I took these set of images was because I went out for a day out to the zoo. So there was a chance for me to take photos for my theme. I took these photos because I thought it would be an interesting theme to do.
3.    Description: Macintosh HD:Users:08JMBos_Boswell:Desktop:Mitchell Boswell's Work:08j.mboswell 7:Documents:Photography Project.:Photography - Animals:Photos for blog:ZebraAll the focus of the photo is drawn to the centre of the image. With the main subject being the tiger in the middle.
4.    Description: Macintosh HD:Users:08JMBos_Boswell:Desktop:Mitchell Boswell's Work:08j.mboswell 7:Documents:Photography Project.:Photography - Animals:Photos for blog:CowThe element of this photo is the pattern on the zebra (left). This pattern makes the main subject of the image stand out, as the colours in the background are one colour, therefore the black and white pattern ads detail.
5.    I am happy with the photos I took and gathered because they were all in focus and had a good deal of detail. The only picture that u think could be improved is the image of the buffalo because it looks quite bland and boring.
6.    One of my pictures (right - lemur) compared to a professional photo (left - lemur). I think that my picture is better than the professionals because my photo catches more detail and also the lemur is eating. This makes the picture better because its not a boring shot but caught the lemur doing something.

Theme 3 - Concept - Nature
Description: Macintosh HD:Users:08JMBos_Boswell:Desktop:Mitchell Boswell's Work:08j.mboswell 7:Documents:Photography Project.:Photography - Nature:Photos For Blog. Nature.:Flower - Nature
1.    The main subject of this image is the flower; they are bright, colourful and sharp so gets all the attention.
2.     The reason I took these photos was because I went for a walk down to the sea wall and saw a chance to take pictures for a theme (nature). All the pictures made a good exciting theme.
3.    Description: Macintosh HD:Users:08JMBos_Boswell:Desktop:Mitchell Boswell's Work:08j.mboswell 7:Documents:Photography Project.:Photography - Nature:Photos For Blog. Nature.:Field - Nature.png All my photos focus attention on the main subject by clearly showing and stating what the main object/theme of the picture is. The part of my images, which has the most detail, is generally the main subject of the photo.
4.    Description: Macintosh HD:Users:08JMBos_Boswell:Desktop:Mitchell Boswell's Work:08j.mboswell 7:Documents:Photography Project.:Photography - Nature:Photos For Blog. Nature.:Canted Angle - Nature One of the elements that this image contains is canted angle, this is a photography technique. Also another element is that the image has the use of lines, the bridge.
5.    I am happy with the photos I have put on my blog because each one clearly shows what the main subject is and that is the thing I want th audience to get from my images.

Nature.:medium shot - NatureDescription: Macintosh HD:Users:08JMBos_Boswell:Desktop:_48157585_004293013-1.jpgI compared one of my photos with a professional image and I think that my photo is not as good as the professionals but not far off.

Concept - Nature

Picture 1. In this image I used the photography technique called canted angle, this makes the picture interesting to look at. It also puts some variety within my photos.

Picture 2. I edited this photo by increasing the brightness as it was to dark, this gave the image a new feel. By editing the brightness and contrast it made me like the picture more.

Picture 3. I like this long shot as the main subject is the bridge and the photo is in focus and the detail of the bridge is excellent.

Picture 4.  This close up of a flower I like because it has bright colours and also it is easy to see the main subject of the image.

Portrait - Animals (Day out)

Picture 1. In this picture I didn't edit anything at all on Photoshop because I don't think it could've been improved much more. Also the image has a clear main subject. The reason why I like this photo is because the amount of detail of the tiger is of a high standard and how the tiger is also looking towards the camera draws me in.

Picture 2. I like this image because it catches this animal having a drink and the surroundings look like the animals habitat. The only thing I edited on this image was the size of the photo, this was because the rest of the original photo was quite boring and plain.

Picture 3. In this image I edited the brightness which made the picture darker, this emphasises the dark detail on its face and body especially the black stripes. The reason I like this photo is because the tiger has many shades of one colour so more interesting to look at.

Picture 4. I didn't edit anything on this image because I don't think it would achieve a better look if I did edit it. This is because the lemur is the main subject, also the image is in focus which makes the image clear. The reason I like this image is because how simple it looks but how effective it is.
